Tournie results from Gardner Lake Ct 12/4/2005

Yes we did it. We fished a tournie in the snow. Launch temp was 27F at 7 AM. five boats. Winning weight was 8Lbs for 5 fish. All I managed was a yellow perch. Silver buddies and tubes were the recipe of the day. We are also talking about having a Diehard Tournament next weekend. I heard fishing line make sounds I never heard before. Had to put the rod into the water to melt the ice off the guides. We had a nice cookout afterwards with Venison backstraps and venison sausage on the grill.

I tried to get out this past weekend. The boat is frozen. I can't open any compartments also drain plug hole had ice in it. Brought it to work today, going to leave it here for the weekend to dry out then put it in it's winter clothes
