anybody camp at Pomme

Looking at possibly getting a travel trailer and camping with the family at a campground on a year round site.
any suggestions?

Harbor Marina at the dam offers sites for the camping year. Camping year I think is from March 1st to Dec 1st. We had ours there for 2 yrs, nice place. Fees are about 1700 yr and if you want a boat slip its another 900. Its gated, we left everything there and never had any problems.

I do too. I am probably one of few that like Pomme over LOZ I would like to fish a circuit there this year.

I love fishing that Pomme too. I have a house down there next to Wheatland landing. Lots of great places to fish. I just wish the bass were a little bigger. Can't seem to get anything over a couple of pounds.

Pomme is awesome, it took 30 lbs to win on Saturday.
There's a campground next to Light Foot Landing, my buddy keeps his trailer there. That puts you in the middle so you can fish river or dam.

30 lbs!!! Wow. What tourney was that? the only thing I don't like about the camping on the west side of the lake is there is no good way to get there from the east without going all the way around the lake.

Pretty sure it was the winter bass brawl. Hopefully the results will be posted on mo bassin shortly. Neighbors boy fished, said he got his butt kicked, 30lb sack won with A rig.

30 pounds is certainly impressive! I talked to a local on the water at Pomme last week who had been throwing the a-rig some. I've been watching/reading all the hype but haven't bought one yet. With the results from here and on Bull Shoals earlier this winter - may have to give in.

I have pics of my son's fish on my phone. He dropped the first 5lb one of the day on its head when it flopped while also hurting his wrist. I thought it killed her, but she was just stunned for a few minutes. After that I just weighed and released the big fish to keep score.
