champioNman, i talked to you a few months ago about my rebuilt motor on this site. the mechanic that rebuilt, or patched the motor has been at it for several months now and hasnt been able to get the thing running like it did before it blew. compression on the cylinders are top left 135, bottom left 125, top right 115 and bottom right 90 or 95. cant remember bottom right for sure but its one or the other. mechanic told me anything 90 or over is ok. he wants to try another prop now but i just dont think thats the problem because it ran 52 to 54mph when it blew and now tops out at 48 and the prop hasnt touched a thing. the hole shot is also slower than it was and as the motor heats up it gets worse, much worse. i know you live in townville sc and i am close to you very near russell. would you be interested in evaluating this motor to see whats up? by the way, this is the 3rd time he has rebuilt this 1998 motor although it was a dirt dobber that caused one of them.
