Headign up there fri to do some bass fishing just wanting to know if the bite is good right now.

the way the river is rising over there and its already 34+ at the Vicksburg scale, you will probably be better off at Eagle Lake.

true, but you have to admit that they are tougher when it is already high and rising too. i never said fish couldnt be caught under those conditions, just that eagle could be a better option.

If the MS river is above 30 everything is flooded North of Eagle.

Thanks for the info. i went to eagle and caught a ton of crappie and and caught stripers till i was sick of it. Only a few bass though. maybe I wasnt jiggling it just right. Had a blast, cant wait to go again.
