    Steering Wheel Spacer for RT188

    Does anyone make a spacer kit for the stock steering wheel? 2017 Rt188.

    Suggest you check with Precision Sonar. They ship a 2 inch spacer with their console mount. They may sell it as a separate item.

    Does a 2017 RT have a center bolt steering wheel or the 6 bolt? Boat is down at lake so I cant look at it.

    Use to be if it was a painted boat it was 6 bolt if it was the camo version it was center bolt. I assume its still that way unless they finally changed it.

    I have hydraulic steering. Anyone done spacer on those? Or better yet did conversion and know if it was center or 6 bolt?

    I've got the painted RT188 (non camo) and my steering wheel is the 6 bolt. Precision Sonar spacer install couldn't have been easier!

    staimless steel washers and longer bolts, cave man but it works most of time..

    Did hyd last year my wheel fit right on the 6 bolt . I have a 188. 2015 ..didn't need a spacer after with hyd steering

    Well checked the boat last night and it has a center stud with a nut holding the steering wheel on.

    Just found Bass Boat Technologies website. They list a kit, adaptor, spacer and steering wheel. States that 2017 and up w/hyd steering have center bolt and require a adaptor.

    They have a way to put a spacer on a center bolt now? I gave up on mine when I had it and just used the dek-it dash mount and mounted a little higher. Never had an issue.

    I am short. So when I make long runs I find myself leaning forward a little. Have notice that next day my back is little sore. So was going to add space to get steering wheel little closer. Not sure I want to spend $150 on that though. Just have to be mindful and sit against back of seat.

    Precision sonar told me that they couldn’t add a steering wheel spacer to my 2017 RT with Hydraulic steering. That is all I know. Didn’t pursue it any further.
