Columbus tx

Had our classic Saturday on Columbus. 9.01 lbs for 1st place, the only 5 fish limit. I did pitiful I ended up with one keeper 1.98. Just curious but how does everyone pick their classic lake to fish? In ours, everyone puts a lake name in a hat and we draw the night before. We got screwed out of Pickwick and Beaver because some d-bag put columbus in. Does anybody else just absolutely not wanna fish Columbus for their classic, hell I'd rather not fish there at all

Columbus is tough right now, if they don't come up schooling then they're hard to catch. Suspended fish are a biatch!!!

Next yrs BFL is going to Columbus on 4/28. I hope it's better that time of year.
