    1995 Evinrude 88hp

This 88 is a long shaft. It has a spacer between the mid-section and gear case. I am wanting to make it a 20inch shaft. All I think I will need is a new upper drive shaft and shift shaft. Please help me out and let me know if I am wrong or right?

    Thanks,

New drive shaft, new shift rod, the exhaust tuner and the mid section. Let me know as I have parts to do this but shipping will cost as I am in Canada.

How much for the parts? I won't need the midsection. This motor has a 20inch midsection that has a spacer between it and the gearcase.

    The E88TSLEOC is a 20" motor, the XE88TSLEOC is the 25" motor.

I know. The motor was extended at the dealership with a spacer plate for the boat it was being put on

OK now we got that out of the way, you'll need to remove the spacer, get a 20" drive shaft, shift rod and an exhaust shoe to fit between the tuner and LU.

I now have the driveshaft and shift rod taken care of. All I need now is the 20inch water tube and the exhaust. When I look at the parts diagram, it shows two for the exhaust . The exhaust housing inner upper and the exhaust housing inner lower. Do I just need the lower to finish?

Yep that'll do it 327796 for the exhaust housing and 323403 for the tube both for 20" shaft models.
