Is Pickwick transitioning to Summer time patterns yet???

Hey friends, I finally got a day or two off, and I'm going over to fish Pickwick for the first time. I'm probably going to put in at Goat Island, and fish the upper part of the lake. Can someone give me a few tips on what the fish are doing and where I might catch a few? I should be on the water by early afternoon Tuesday.

    Thanks for the info.

    See ya, HatfieldHog

Yeah.....transition would be the word I would use from everything I've heard. Surface water temps are close to 80....and I'm sure will be a lot warmer than that by the end of this week seeings how the heat index is gonna be over 100 in places.

Where were you finding the fish? Some still shallow? Stacked on ledges? I appreciate any info you can give.

I would try shallow first thing in the morning.....but if they aren't jumping on the hook, I'd head out to the humps and ledges.

Any of the ledges and deep points were working. There was no place that we stopped at that we didn't catch fish.
