do these engines have one ? a fishing buddy asked me but this is a new one for me i figures that the newer efi engines do but was unshure if our older loopers did.
i told him that as far as i knew that the rev limiter was as many rpms that it could handle until it stopped running, then to look at the tac and tht was the limit !

i think he was asking if they have a rev limiter like a new car.....
shortly after my son turned 16 i told him if i hooked his truck to the computer and it had been abused any at all he would be walking everywhere he went (it was covered in mud)........ he said well then i need to tell you i got stuck the other day and the truck was sounding funny while i was trying to get out........ yep he hit the rev limiter.
i know old cars arent that far out of the pic but i remember when the rev limiter was your self control...... and when i was a kid i lacked it
