    115 E115TLETS 1993

Got the above motor torn down and need some advice for the machine shop. The top starboard piston let go (too much carbon) and the top ring is gone. The odd thing is that it did very little damage to the cylinder wall. When I say very little, I mean very little. There is only a couple of marks on the top of the cylinder. Will a regular hone take care of this or will it need to be bored? I would like to put standard pistons back in it.

Yep you can Robert, just make sure you have a shop that can handle a 60* block. If it is down that far do them all and re-ring them. Make sure the cyls and pistons aren't ovaled.
