Heading that direction myself in just a little bit. Maybe I will see you up there. Meeting the guys from Texas at JP Coleman to do a little guiding for the day. Talked to them last night and said they had a pretty good day without me yesterday. Said they caught about 15 pounds and had 1 that weighed about 5 or 6 pounds. Caught it on a frog in a little area I told them about. Hopefully I can help them out and add a little something to what they already found !!

Well how did y'all do. I caught a few dinks, nothing to speak of though.
All the matted grass I saw was getting hammered pretty good so i didnt fish grass today.

I want our country back !!!
All I am going to say, is watch the leader board in this tournament for the name Robert Case. Do not want to jinx or give anything away so am not going to say much else at this time.

Caught a few, but there was an incredible number of boats out there today. Joey, I met a couple of guys at JP Coleman from Lake Fork in a Z20, are they with your group?
Was it white and red with a Yami 225 on the back. If so, those 2 guys are co-anglers and travled up here with Robert. They fished out of his boat and I took Robert with me in this Cougar that is in my garage.
i met a guy that was part of "team fatboy" with missouri tags. had a wrapped boat, but i didn't really pay attention to the sponsor. said he hasn't boated a smallmouth the whole 5 days he'd been fishing. We launched at the stateline ramp in yellow creek. that new ramp is awesome, LOTS of new paved parking.
We didn't get up there until around 2pm. caught fish everywhere we stopped, nothing spectacular though. got on a ton of schooling fish at the end of the day, but damn they were hard to catch.

I went Monday, didn't know there was a big tournament this weekend. Lots of boats. I scratched out a small limit with one 3 lb I caught on a trap over grass. Pickwick has just kicked my butt this Fall.![]()
