    Jourdan River

Any of you guys on the forum ever fish the Jourdan River at Kiln? I've got a tournament coming up down there at the end of this month and was looking for a few pointers. We are launching at McLeod Water Park in Kiln. What kind of pattern should be working down there, baits to use, areas to try, etc. If any of you can help, I would appreciate it!

No one on here fished the Jourdan River besides mdb128? Already talked to him a little about the river.

the stuff you did last time should get you some fish, I wouldn't expect a whole lot though.

Derek, I plan to try the same thing as last year. Whether it will work or not, I don't know. How is the fishing on the Wolf River? I've never fished it before.

Randall, if I had ever made the trip to Delacroix before, I might try it. But its not worth it in our little club tournaments.

I like fishing Wolf... I know of two 10+ sacks that have come off there recently. It's either hit or miss. Marc I would prefish it just to see if you like the way it looks. It's not very big so there isn't too much water to cover, but you won't have any company

Stay in the main river and look for any little runout. The mouths will be good early but later in the day when the sun comes up move out to about 10 to 15 ft of water. Its slow but sometimes worth the wait.

Randall, I got Bro. Joe beat; its Chris that I'm chasing right now. I might have to spend $200 to win $20 against him.
