    Decarbed- still looks dirty?

Hi Guys- Need some advice/help here. Just De-Carbed my 97 150 Ficht (Mdl#E150ILEUC Ser#G04283431). I used Evinrude Engine Tuner to decarb and followed directions spraying it through the throttle bodies. Everything went well w/ the decarb process, ran it hard after it sat for about 12hrs. No issues, ran a little better. When I removed the spark plugs to replace them I noticed it looked dirty down in the hole. I used a small flashlight and each one looks black and sooty. Is normal? Kind of scale-like black build up (carbon I assume) on the walls. Do I need more Decarbing? Old plugs were dirty but not too bad. Is there something I can put in there to loosen/clean that up? Or is that normal and should proceed w/ new plugs and go on?
Just wondering if there is more I can do. Only bout another month (if I am lucky) to run my boat out here in MN before it goes away til spring. Thanks for any help/advice I can get on this.

    -Steve.

If you have some tuner left you can repeat the process and this time when the motor quits. You can remove the plugs and shoot some tuner down each cylinder with the motor tilted up as far as it will go and then finger tighten the plugs. Leave the plug wires off and just bump the started to get good coverage in to the bores. In the morning trim down remove the plugs and spin the motor over a few time to clear the cylinders. Then index the plugs properly and if you can swing it switch over to XD-100 if you haven't already.
