    Is this the right oil tank and kit for my engine

    Hi i have evinrude 200hp Ficht year 2000 and have found an oil tank part number 0177284 is this the correct one for my engine.

    Yes! That will work with the DI motors as well as the E-Tec's.

    thanks danrude thats great news .btw is there a return pipe to tank or does it return to pre pump oil circuit ?

    There is a line running from the lift pump to the oil injector and then one from the injector to a pressure regulator then out to the oil tank. the pressure regulator must be in the return line to build up the proper amount of pressure.

    Danrude on the above mentioned oil tank looking at the pics on ebay there only seems to be a single pipe is this correct if so where do I connect the pipe on my engine labeled oil return or do I just get a suitable length of pipe and run it back to tank using a suitable connector .

    Follow this link it will show where the return line goes into the tank. http://12.2.215.22/pub/default...ds=EJ change it from evinrude to accessories and look under 2007 model year.
    The fitting may be capped off so remove it then get a piece of oil line long enough to reach from the motor to the tank and hook it up.
