have been comming to MI. for years always fish the lakes on the asuable river .Alcona, Foote, Cooke and stay at the campgrounds at alcona. Was driving around one day and found Hubbard lake. How is the fishing on that lake? good smallies and largemouth ? looks like a good lake. any public ramps? also any hp restictions thanks for the help Dave

Good smallmouth lake! Public launches are available. It should be worth the trip. No restrictions that I am aware of.
Alpena bass club had a stellar weigh in....I looked for their posted results and could not find it again.

Good fishing lake.....The walleye fishing is pretty good on that lake also...
