Do useless threads count as a means to keep the Michigan forum alive?

It seems to work for the Lounge.....

Seriously, if we keep it under control and continue to use it then I'd have to say yes. When Al took it down before there hadn't been a post in over 30 days. Take a look at some of the other club forums and you can see what people use them for. We don't have a lot of MI members, so this will be a challenge.

Well if useless post count then I should be fine and can help with keeping this forum going. Just moved here and don't know much about the bass fishing except that they will hit muskie lures while trolling.

I was at Sleepy Hollow outside Lansing, the funny part is I was using a jerk bait hoping for a bass when I caught the muskie and the guy I was fishing with caught a 3#er with a huge 7in muskie lure!

I caught one there too. I was throwing a little Rocket Shad on a 6' medium action spinning rod with 8lb line.

I live a couple miles from Sleepy Hollow and they planted some Musky there years ago. Seems they are doing really well and hit pretty much anything at the right time of year. Not much size to them now but I'm sure theres a few good ones.

Hi, how much do you know about this boat? Skeeter S-1850, I was told it was a Walleye type boat.

yes it is condsidered a walleye boat, but it is also a great all around fishing boat it's perfect for lake st clair, detroit river and erie the larger inland lakes should not be a problem either. don't worrry about it being a "bass boat" just have fun fishing out of it.

Do you ever fish Round lake right there by you for bass. I drove by it a few times and it looks like it should be a good lake and smaller? The muskie I caught there was the biggest fish I ever caught it went 46 1/2", not to bad for like the third time fishing in Michigan. You should have seen the guys face that took me he couldn't believe it when I got it to the boat. I wasn't even fishing with a leader!

Sorry I have been out of town since last Tues.

Yes I have fished Round Lake a few times. There are some old piers by the big catering place that have held some nice ones. Along the west shore is also a good place for some nice ones.
