    2012 18se speed with powerpoles

I have a 2012 18se Triton with a mercury 150 pro xs. I'm running 21 pitch tempest plus prop at 5800-5900 rpm and gps showing 55-57 mph tops. I was hoping to hit at least 62-63 mph but can't seem to reach it. I put a 23 pitch prop on and the rpm dropped to around 5200, raised the jackplate 1" and rpm went to around 5400 but didn't gain any speed either time. Is anyone else running an 18' Triton with a 150 Mercury getting any better speeds? Was also thinking on adding powerpoles and wondered how much that would effect my speed?

Put the 21P back on since it was running at the proper RPM.

You will lose a couple mph when adding power poles.

Yep, put the 21p back on and lowered jack plate back down an inch. I guess 55-57 mph is all is going to do>
