BTW I own a Legend and they are well built.
I’ve often wondered how those guys and gals deal with working around all that fiberglass without it being a constant irritant.
Watching some of the BCB production videos it looks like the stuff is everywhere.

boats are no different than cars , clean paint booths means top quality product in the end , to spray the molds with gel and to shoot a chopper gun the cleaner the better

Sorry, but I don't buy it. Too much smoke for there not to be a fire. Biggest indicator to me that Legend's days are numbered is the fact that White River Marine Group took all the pros out of Legends, including the Bass Master Classic champ, Jordan Lee. If they were planning on expanding production, as some claim, what kind of business sense would that make?

Maybe it was a matter of not having the time and manpower to build the promotional staff's boats because of the warranty work, business adjustments, and facility changes?

I've thought of that possibility, but they could have just let the pros stay in their 2017 models for an extra year if that were the case. If you have the reigning Classic champ promoting your product, that's not something you just give up because of "factory upgrades." I think Johnny would've found a way to keep Jordan in a Legend if he'd have wanted to.

I don't either. IMO Legend is a direct competitor with Ranger. WRMG pretty much has the bass boat buyer price spectrum covered with Nitro (economy), Triton (mid level) and Ranger (high end). Just like GM with Chevy, Buick and Cadillac. GM no longer need Oldsmobile and Pontiac so they dropped them. WRMG did not need Champion, Stratos and Pro Craft so they dropped them.

I have only seen three Legend boats and mine is one. The other two were on the trailers. The Legend market is simply not large enough to keep.

If/before Legend goes away a number of boat builders need to take a look to their detail. I do believe it's the most well
finished bass boat I've ever seen. Looks like the detail is made in not just polished or added on. Wish their owners and
    employees the best.

It's funny the family tree ,vyper, cobra, hawk legend all look the same their look hasn't changed since the 90's and they still remind you of the 90's model ranger they were splashed from .
Champion is the same way they always looked like A 90's model hull , there are people who like the design but they don't sell enough to stay prosperous , hopefully wwmg sells enough hulls to keep legend going we will see in a few years

I know, the timing just puzzles me. I'm sure they need more spray booths since they are going to move the Triton boats
That they moved to the Nitro plant back down there. But if you have all these orders that the Legend sales representative indicated on the TFF, and you are committed long term to Legend, why would you suspend production with the economy doing better, and boat selling season starting now? Since Legends are considerably more expensive than most Tritons, they have to be better margins than Tritons. And you would really only have to build one model, the V20. One thing I do know is employees usually find out about 15 minutes before they announce moves like this.

I have always liked legend boats, especially the V-20. I really hope they survive as it is one of very few boat brands left where the buyer gets to choose exactly what they want in options and colors. If you follow what happened with the Stratos brand after JM bought it, the first thing that happened was they moved the pros into Rangers. Next thing you here, the line is done. Again, I really hope this isnt the case with Legend.

In that guys defense...during a factory tour, the three they were building at the time Stratos, Triton, and Ranger, were described as good, better, best. Just sayin...

I think some Tritons are being made in MO at Nitro, maybe temporarily. My reasoning is I live in a town on HWY 65 about 30 miles from MO; all Ranger's, Tritons, Legends, and BCB come through here headed north all Trackers come through here headed south. I've seen two different haulers headed South with Nitro and Triton on the same trailer coming from MO.
