Thanks Luigi, but that's the wrong part of the state for me. I'm 15 miles east of St. Louis. I've never fished north of Springfield, I like to stay down here in gods country

I guess I'll update my own question. I went to a meeting last nite and ended up joining. It seemed like a really great bunch of guys, all were very friendly. I've been to some clubs in the past where they act like they don't want anybody new. Not these guys, they made me feel very welcome. They have a great schedule with tournaments in Missouri, Illinois and Ky. If anybody in the STL metro area is looking for a club, you may want to check these guys out. I've only been to one meeting, but I have a good feeling about this one.

They have a couple draw tournaments and the rest are buddy tournaments. You can only fish with the same partner once during the year, they really promote getting to know the other members.

I fish 2 open tournaments they hold every year, great guys and the tournaments are ran well.
