Otter has a lot of different types of structure to fish. Ive done best on the deeper end of the lake ( the south side). Lots of good laydowns, weeds (milfoil), deep points, stumps, and rock. Ive caught 90% of my fish there on jigs. That may be b/c I throw a jig 90% of the time. I dont fish it much in the spring. In the summer fish deep points till you find one with some structure on it or throw a frog or a tube in the grass. In the fall throw a jig off points of flip laydowns. Another good spot is the bridge area right by the launch. Let me know if you have any other questions.
