60 hp evenrude

I'm asking this for a friend. He's lookin at a boat with 60 hp evinrude. It needs a new prop. We stopped at the dealer to check on one and ask about trading the 60 hp for a 100 hp evinrude. The dealer wont' take 60 hp as trade because they were told in training it is the worst motor made due to a cooling problem. Anyone know anything about this?

Yeah, when I saw the motor it reminded me of my first one, a Johnson 70. When I bought it was 12 years old and I ran it for 13 years without a problem before I sold it! But he said that they were nothing like the Johnny 70's, they sure look like one.
