    Re: valdosta (bassknight)

Just south of Valdosta off exit 5 there are quite a few lakes in the area. I know there are a few campgrounds there and I would think you could pay to use one of the ramps. Hopefully one of the Valdosta guys will chime in for you.. I will go ahead and e-mail one of my Valdosta friends and see if he can help. Good luck.

Billy the only lake I know of that is within a few miles of Valdosta is Twin Lakes about six or seven miles out of town toward Statenville.

    Re: valdosta (overdrivecb)

Late to this thread as I'm still trying to adjust from "Middle East Lifestyle/Time Zone" to home....

But...your best bet is probably Lake Blackshear not far from Cordele...though stick to the marked Channels since you won't know the Lake well....

Not far from Tifton, GA which is a little north of Valdosta.....

Your other option would be Seminole (DEFINITELY STICK TO THE BOAT CHANNELS THERE...) which is in Bainbridge, and west of Valdosta....

    Sorry I'm late..
