Re: Boating accident on Hartwell (Bassin Billy)

seems weird they are saying drinking was not the cause but one person who was taken to the hospital pulled out the IV and ran out and was picked up in a car and they dont know his name or anything. prayers to the people but that area is an accident waiting to happen.

Re: Boating accident on Hartwell (lkhartwl)

No disrespect ment by this, and I hope nobody is seriously injured, but with all this extra water in Hartwell people just don't know how to act on the water. There are some real nutjobs out there that should not operate a boat period.

Re: Boating accident on Hartwell (jovous21)

Good buddies sis in law was aboard the vessel that was struck. Pickens county deputy was driving the boat that struck the other boat. From the pics looks like a Tahoe smacked a small go fast boat. No mention of anybody jerking out IV's and running away from the hospital in the article in the GVL news. Says no booze involved but at 8 PM and a busy Sat night at Charlie's, DNR will release their findings. At least no one was killed.

Re: Boating accident on Hartwell (ChampioNman)

My brother in law was at Water Mark (condo next to Charlie T's). He ended up in the water helping with the rescue. What they gathered was a boat was leaving the dock at Charlie T's when the boat driven by the Pickens County cop hit them.

The Saturday night news was who reported the guy ripping the IV out of his arm and skipping out on the hospital.
I don't know where we are, but we are making darn good time.

Talked with a buddy about it, and he said the pickens county deputy failed a sobriety test. Thanks for the reminder about my accident, Insurance still hasn't settled on it yet.
