    150 Intruder fuel prob question

    1994 Evinrude Intruder 150
    E150GLERA
    G03524517

I've been getting a fuel restriction alarm on occasions, the last time it did it I stopped and checked the bulb and it was soft.
Today I changed the fuel lines and the primer bulb and put a filter in it (line) and it will pump up but is still a little squishy. Also if I hold pressure on the bulb it will slowly collapse. I looked and I dont see any noticable leaks.
What else should I look for?

I'm hoping for some quick answers because I'm working on it as we speak, Thanks

Might look at the screw in mesh filter that screws into the VST. There is an O ring there and it may have gotten crushed.

I checked it and thought it would be that after seeing the flat ring wasnt seated that good but no luck.
I can see the gas in the inline filter should it have an air bubble in it?
its like the gas is siphoning back in the tank because its not coming out anywhere else.

Nope no air bubles. did you use a BRP 3/8" OD fuel bulb? There is a built in check valve in there. Hold it as close to vertical as you can while priming the bulb. Make sure all you clamps are tight.

Got it fixed turned out to be a clamp, well I guess I should say a ziptie.
Someone put a ziptie on where the hose goes to the tank and after I change the hose I tried it to,Then I put a hose clamp on there and now it holds pressure.
I've had this boat for 4 years and this is the first time its done that so I guess the ziptie held that long anyway. although I dont recomend it
