Old Federal has a ramp usable but our very smart know it all COE has decided now would be a great time to work on the parking lot and widen it,so they are digging up the asphalt...Way to go..

Also Aqualand is supposed to be opening up thier ramps by this Fri,they had temp dams built and poured down into the water,like at Charleston Park..

Old Federal is still not open due to some work in the lot. The extension we poured at Balus is open though

What is the ramp behind the Dam Store called and is it open. I will be in Sugar Hill over the 4th of July and would like to drag my boat with me and take my Dad fishing.

Tidwell might have a lane open after the rains....Only Charleston had been open prior to that.

As of 5/19/09 Lanier is at 1065.42 which is still 5.5' low but the best we have seen in awhile. And all parks have ramps that are open.
Headed there this week end. I haven't fished Lanier in a year so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you put in last time. Balus is a great ramp and wind usually doesn't affect it as much.
okay, okay... last cast, after this one.
We put in at the ramp that is behind The Dam Store. I plan on fishing the lower end. Nothing north of Browns Bridge. Thanks.
