    Best place to buy a new Triton

    Hey guys could use a little help. I am trying to find the best place to buy a new Triton.

    The one dealer I went to had a nice price 29.5k on a tr196dc, the problem was it didnt have a jackplate on it. He then tried to inform me that one wasnt needed on that boat.
    Needless to say I walked out.

    The most important things to me at the moment are a fair price ( not nececerly the cheapest) knowledge on how to set these boats up from the start, and good after the sale service. Any help would be appreciated.

    72 Marine is good because of their proximity to Lake Russell. I would be sure to ask for an on the lake test before I purchased and signed ANY papers..

    My dad bought his Triton LT 191 from Marshall's Marine...found that they were the cheapest in the southeast after spending nearly 3 months shopping around....

    What Billy said......I got mine (19' Dlb.}there in '98. They told me I didn't need a jack plate either....

    Anybody get their IM....not sure I know how deese one werkys....CYA

    No question knowing both dealers very well go to Boating Atlanta, see Lee Hartley tell him Don Deavers and Paul Leckie sent you and he will treat you right.

    I have an 06 TR21X classic Boat with all the options I am willing to sell for a good price if your looking for used boat with low hours.

    Also, the dealer you talked to was not lying. A 196 does not "need" a jackplate. It is a option...

    As I said in the Triton forum. Perry Sports Center beat the price of all the others in Ga. that were at the Atlanta Boat Show...Tim Greer

    You dont buy on price alone, he said best place not best price.... its about service after the sale and any large dealer can sell at the same price as Perry if the want to but most dont have to.
