Etec 250HO smoking at start

Can anyone offer an explanation as to why my Etec 250 smokes first thing in the morning, this is a new problem that just started happening. When my old EFI started up I expected to se smoke but not this motor.
2008 Etec with about 60 hours,

well it's hard to tell you know, launching at o'dark 30 but I would have to say white.

If it is oil then you might want to look into the venting of the oil reservoir! I read on here somewhere, that with warmer temperatures while sitting pressure can builds up and if the tank does not vent it forces the oil through the system and into the cylinders. I am not sure it applies to the E-Tec but worth investigating.

DITTO!! The oil tank can vent it's pressure thru the oil system if the cap is not venting properly.
