Lanier today

Fished from about 11:30 till 4:00 today mostly mid-lake. Couldnt find a spoon bite to save my life. We DID wind up with 6 on a dropshot in 52 feet of water. My partner in the back of the boat nailed the first one while i was re-doing a spoon up front. I looked at the Lowrance and it showed 52(.something) ft. He nailed another about 2 minutes after that. I finally put the spoon down and dropped down on em with a dropshot and caught a couple myself while he caught 2 more. After that little flurry it pretty much died on us. We tried several more places and couldnt get anything else going. All were good keeper fish, the biggest in the pic. No monsters but it sure as heck beats working on a day like today! Not too sure who might show....myself and Don Deavers....my friend Mark and Drew from our club are coming....Shawn will be coming,too....I wish we could get about 5 or 6 total boats....that would be fun

Is there any water at the dock at Sardis?

Don A. and I fished a few months ago when the lake was somewhat lower than now and there was just enough dock in the water to use.

Still fishing alone, so if anyone wants to ride shotgun or has a seat open, let me know.
