    ChattahoocheeRiver Run

    Ok i moving to Ft Benning Ga in about 3 months i going to be able to fish Urchee Creek is there some things that i should be aware of IE rock stumps and anything i not expected


    i looking in to a skeg gaurd, keel gaurd maybe even a Rock skeg guard

    some stumps just stay in the channel when you are running. Get in with the Benning Bass Club and they will show you around.

    The Channel is dredged for commercial barge traffic

    i live in lee county ga about an hour and 20 from ft. benning if you want to try some flint river bassin just give me a shout ... no guarantees on fish but good times .

    i used to camp at uchee (no R) creek with my grand parents as a kid its isnt very big but there are lots of areas to fisharound there

    we used to REALLY kill the bream and shellcrackers on the high banks (across the river channel) from uchee creek campground
