Heard Watson talking about this on the radio a couple of weeks ago. It seems the fastest boats were provided to the South African teams, the interesting part was they have no coast guard requirement, small boats and with big motors. Seems first take off spot wasn't as much of an advantage as normal.

Yeah I think he had a video prior to any of these coming out where he showed the 2nd place trophy. I think it was his man cave video or something.

The South African anglers used their own boats and all the boats used for the forum teams were hired by the organisers from anglers who didn't qualify for the team. The Vaal is one the only big river that they have bass fishing in mostly its Lakes. There is not a huge amount of decent bass boats in South Africa so the organisers would of been stretched to get decent boats for the foreign teams.
Did you film any during the tournament.
