Huge thank you to Skydever

I want to give a huge "Thank You" to Steve aka "Skydever" for allowing me to have the opportunity to fish with him for some quality Florida largemouth last week when I was up from Washington on vacation. I'm always humbled by how great the BBC'ers are when it comes to sharing their boats, fishing spots and time with other members all be it basically total strangers. He put me on the fish and I had a ball fishing with him and his partner Jerry aka "Rooster835". I not only got to catch my first Flordia largermouth but got the chance to see my first gator in the wild. Its a little different fishing for those big boys and I missed a couple opportunities to land probably my largest bass. Steve is a class guy and an asset to the bassfishing community. Anytime you find yourself in the Northwest I'd love to return the favor.

Well he did tell me to set the hook like I was trying to bust the rod. I apparently took that to heart. I never saw the fish but I'm sure he was over 10 lbs.

I told him to set it like he was going to break it....he did...exploded into 3 pices..got full refund on the bass carbon lite rod...got a new Duckett flipping stix (thanks Doug) micro guide ..this thing is sweet...Doug got some good bites ..damn rod broke on a nice one..we got into them pretty good
