i am thinking about driving down saturday, and fishing till tuesday...all these pics of giant bass are killing me...i will probably be at peir 2...they give you free beer...

I am not a south Florida guy but I was thinking about heading down this weekend for my first trip to the Big O and do some Hawg callin. That Pier 2 looks nice.

they usually offer one free drink at the tiki bar for each night you stay...dont know if they still do it or not...hope to see you there..i should get in saturday sometime after lunch...

I should be down there friday about 5:00. White Chevy with black wheels and a Skeeter 20I. It looks like that pier 2 has a ramp and you lock thru to the lake? Or is is better to drive down to Scott Driver park? And from what I hear the water is up enough that I don't have to worry about hitting anything. Can't wait to lose my Lake O cherry.

the north end of the lake is no problem to run with the water at the present level..the ramp at pier 2 isnt bad if you have someone to back you in..its fairly steep...the taylor creek lock is just a rocks throw away, and is usually always open...i will probably launch at scott driver...its about a 5 minute drive...
