    Re: Trolling motor repair. (ChobeeBassChaser)

The guy that does does the work for lake placid marine seems like a stand up guy, (same guy that does Outback USA's work I believe) he talked me thru a problem on the phone. Saved me actually taking it him.

I have been less than impressed on multiple occasions with central florida trolling motor, which is how I ended up with the other guys number just my $.02

Phillips Bait and Tackle outside of Lakeland is also a Minn Kota and Motor Guide service location. But they are moody, and unpredicatable stick with the others if they can help you. Phillips does good work depending on their mood.

Stay away from CFLtrollingmotor/Phillips (same place). I'd only buy crickets and beer from them.

    Re: (flranger)

I only used CFLtrollingmotor/Phillips (same place) twice. Satisfied each time. First time fixed it while I waited second time about 3/4 days if I remember. I must have been in there on there UNmoody occasions . I then switched to Lake Placid Marine because closer to me never a problem there either but may be a week or two. Get it in before snowbird season or you will have a wait for sure. It is just around the corner

    Re: Trolling motor repair. (castoff33)

Couldn't remember his name, didn't dawn on me til now to check the contacts in my phone! Ken is the guy who does the work for Outback USA (Lake Placid) Super good guy. All the Lane boy's use him for their work, got his number from them, that ought to tell you something, cause they are from Lakeland area.
