Dad and I were able to pull out a win on John's Lake. My dad really carried the weight on this one. DC and I went out one day and scouted, then I went back and found a concentration of bigger fish in one little area in the canal between the two lakes. Most people crowded up at the mouth. Unfortunately with all the boat traffic, and pressure, those fish never schooled up the way they had all week long. We ended up with only three, after I lost two. Dad got big fish too at 9.67lbs! She was a hawg! We totalled out at 13.04lbs, with Dell finishing second at 13.02 on 5. Closest finishing standings we'd ever had.
