    Charlies Worm's

I picked up a bag of Charlies Worms a few years back at the Camp Lejeune PX, they were great worms. I called the guy about how great they worked. My questions for you Florida bassmen, " Is there a wesbite for Charlies Worms"? Can not seem to find them anymore, do they still make them.?

Great question. No website that I know of. I think our BPS still carries them. I'll have a look next time I go. I caught my biggest bass ever, an eleven pounder on a Tequila Sunrise Charlie's worm so I'm a permanent fan.

I was just there today and I don't recall seeing any . . .but I may be wrong.

Don't see any on the web site either.

Those two are the only sites I could find that sell them. Other than that you're stuck with Ebay as far as online sites go.

Thanks for the reply gents. Like I said, I had found these worms at the PX, blackgrape paddle tail, and a purple with red flake ribbon tail. The paddle tails whacked them good, and like Skinnyside said, I am a permenant fan too.

    Re: Charlies Worm's (rooster tail)

This was my go to bait when living in sfla. black grape, junebug and motor oil red flake in ribbin tail. About a yr ago walmart around here still had them, no more.. I still have about doz bags for when nothing else is working... sad to see a great local bait no longer produced.. The great thing about these worms, is you can catch a bunch of fish on one bait, they are very durable, and have tons of action. Oh and they smell GREAT too!!

    Re: Charlies Worm's (BrianFLA)

I looked at BPS on Friday and did not see them. I still got a ton of them and rarely fish, so I should have a lifetime supply.

Re: Charlies Worm's (ol man river)

Looks to me that some of the molds are the ones that are shared by at least 5 soft plastics companies...just look at the frog...I know 3 small companies and a mega store using that mold...They may have kept some of the molds but I doubt they will be the same as when Charlie poured them.

    Re: Charlies Worm's (Meyers)

The old man used to play golf at a club I worked at about 15yrs ago, super nice guy. One day we started talking fishing and he told me about the company, next time he came out to play, he brought me a whole box of baits-pretty cool especially for a college kid with limited resources to buy gear at the time. SOme great worms love the paddle tail for c-riiging one of the few I've found that will float a XX hook. I'll have to check out the new ones.

    Great work finding them
My friend's mom used to work for Charlie in Clewiston, bagging worms after pulling them from the mold. I've actually have two bags of worms that were never separated. Looks like a big green watermelon colored octopus .
I also like the they have a link with listings where the product can still be found, including Clewiston and Belle Glade.
