What is the old saying birds of a feather stick together. Sounds like Mr. don't cry has the same ethics or DNA make up as johnny & the river rat's he seem's to be so big on. Sure case of inbreading at it's finest sounds like there all under the same sheets!
Wasn't KVD DQ'ed for having the camera man just hold on to a limb or a dock to keep his boat from drifting. They considered that as outside help so I would picture someone priming up a fish for someone else during a tournament then letting them pull up and catch it grounds for DQ as well.
It's bad enough we have bass pro's fishing our "WORKING Man" T's Glad I mostly fish for fun! I got tired of this crap a long time ago.

I think its great that Dontcry & pleasurefish have both been on the board for ONE Day and made one or two posts and this is what they decided to post on??? No coincidence here? No if we have the chance we all wouldnt do it. your full of it.... don't try to make our ethical behavior a hinderance of our skills. I think it speaks to the people doing it also! You would have to be someone's little Bi$%h to go sit on fish for your Hero to come catch. just so you can go home and not tell anyone!!!!! If it was such a ethical thing to do, why don't them people at the weigh-in tell others how cool they are for sitting on the winners fish??? Cause its wrong and its outside help that they should not be getting.
There are plenty of great fisherman out here that don't need the help, even some that do it really don't need the help, but its their choice on whether they take it... Speaks volumes about them!!!!

if he did this for 350 $ tourney what extreme will he do for lets say wolfson childrens tourney.he was recieving outside help he d should be disqualified at weigh in if proof was available. proof is the key word.

Unfortunately with the recent spate of guys getting caught cheating in tournaments, something like this incident only sours it more for the guys who go out and do the right thing.....play by the rules both ethically and morally. I'd feel like a big D Bag cheating in the first place but for a few dollars, its even more ridiculous.
Question everything!
My opinion is this. Sometimes doing the right thing is harder than doing the wrong thing. At the end of the day you as an individual has to look yourself in the mirror. Fishing does not come easy and if I do well it is because I work hard at it, as I know the rest of you do as well. It's the one thing we All look fowarded to in an attemp to escape the bs of everyday life. It's disapointing to find bullchit in fishing too. Alot of you know me and I respect every one of you. I just expect the same in return. The people that are doing this need to clean up their act because what you take from others and this sport is too much of a price to pay. Most people work all week, they pay for gas, entry fee, ect. And all they want is to compete in a field that is fair. They want to learn from others and they want to walk away with something win or lose. People that see this behavior walk away feeling cheated and they don't return. So in the long run you just hurt yourself. It would be nice to see folks do some soul searching, make their apologies,and learn from their mistakes. Instead we have to hear about how everyone else does it and folks are just mad cause they got their ass stomped. What hapPened is disapointing but I still have faith that most of us are trustworthy people. For those who are not, we will be watching.

Nice Tim, now and days it seems like people don't have the same morals or respect for other like in the older days when the river citys was on the river having 80 or 90 boats this was unheard of and now they want to blame people like Stalvey cause he wins alot this time of year but he does his homework I've fished around him too much tired of these new people that start fishing with no self respect or spine crying about them and say there cheating or doing this I've never had this happen to me, and what makes a pro all a pro is is how much you pay to fish!!! and for closing that's cheating all day long.
Ryan, you are right, talked with lee about this a few days ago, he works hard and does his homework. On top of that he is a good guy. I have Been out of fishing for a few years due to my son. This year I have been fishing with Troy just about every weekend and I am shocked to see the lack of participation in these tournaments. I know the economy has something to do with it but I can't help to believe that alot of it is because of what happened last weekend. We need to clean up our act and call out the few rotten eggs that is spoiling it for all of us. I am moving on with all of this and I hope to see all of u on the water soon.
