Brandon, I fished a club tourney there 2 weeks ago and i won with a 18-14 limit. fished the FBN tourney out there today and had a limit for 7 pounds I did miss 2 good fish that would have helped a lot but it's still fishing pretty good.

Chopper and myself took first in the FBN today with 16-19. The lake was not walk in the park as it has been but there was some nice fish to be found. We had a limit of dinks by around 10 and culled all but one before weighin. We missed a few real nice ones also.

Re: Hows the fishing in lochloosa?? (Skeeter-E)

Thanks Eric. It was actually pretty tuff fishing. The "normal" stuff didn't work, for us anyway. Flukes, trick worms and speed worms almost always catch fish there but not yesterday. We were able to figure that out pretty quickly in the morning and went to other baits which seemed to work better.

Good tournament and we had a great time!

    Thanks!

Brandon, the water temp yesterday at 1pm was 90 degrees at Lochloosa. It was in the high 80's early in the morning. If I were gonna make a long trip down there I believe I'd give it a few more weeks and let the water cool a bit. You can catch fish there now but I think it will really turn on when it cools some. I'd shoot for the mid to lower 80's which should get them active. If you go now with it this hot, you may get lucky and have some wind but if the wind does not blow, it makes for a tuff day. Oh, the bream bite seems to be ok though. There were perch jerkers all around us catching them one after the other, all in the pads or outer grass line, if that's what you are after. Couple of them told us the crappie was not doing anything, though.

Re: Hows the fishing in lochloosa?? (Skeeter-E)

The fishing at Loosa isn't quite what it was this summer. The topwater bite is still there in the am, but nothing like it was. We had a couple of good fish blow up, but never hooked up with them. The flippin bite in the grass isn't there like it was, they seemed to have moved more into the shoreline drilla and deeper pads.

We had 2nd with right at 13lbs, just couldn't get rid of that last runt fish. Seems like everyone brought in at least one or 2 good fish. They're there, just gotta hunt em' down.

Eric, get over yourself. We have better things to do than follow you. He threw his anchor because you were being a ***** and cussing at him. BTW, did you forget to mention that we were at the spot on the river first? Guess you must have followed us last week. All I'm going to say...

Jeez, feels like a war zone in here. People claiming property on a public lake and then throwing anchors. I hope I don't cross any of you on the water. Scary!

We have a love/hate relationship. We love to catch fish, and we hate it when we end up in the same spots!

Yeh, we've settled our differences. Apologies were exchanged. No worries.
