http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif sad news

it is with a heavy heart that i must make this post. i have threatened to do so before, but have always backed out. but for his best interest i now make this plea for help. as some of you know, i fish with bass-ackwards. rob is a great guy, but brotheren, rob has an addiction. he can't fight this alone, but he is too proud to ask for help. we are all guilty at times, but rob can't help himself. SORRY ROB rob is addicted to too much fishing tackle. for heavens sake, the guy for instance showed up at my house with 17 fishing rods and a suitcase of tackle. is there anyone that knows where he can seek help for this problem. the poor guy needs help is there a recovery group for people such as rob?

Cold Turkey is the only way to go. Restrain him securely, then call me, send directions and I'll come get all his stuff. That's just the type of caring guy I am, willing to help.

If it's as bad as CrippleSnake says, we may need both trucks, then we'll split...umm...I mean store everything in two seperate places so he can't fall off the wagon easily.

Yeah store it, but definately use it to keep it in tip top shape, for when the time comes that he can control himself.

Hell in this summer heat it takes forever to get on plane now. But I can't bring myself to drop a pitch cause it still runs good on the top end.

.......Let me try to explain myself.. ....Nah, I wont even try.. ....I have sought professional help for this problem in the past and even the massive amounts of drugs they have Rx have not helped .....(Still taking the drugs, tho). ..My logic behind this obsession. ... is if we get into some good fish and they happen to snap a rod or three or rip them out of my hands I will still have more to battle on with. Better safe then sorry.....Now with Snakies help I have weaned myself down to only 9 or 10, sometimes 11 rods per trip ...Well at least im out of the closet now and it feels so much better.....I know Im not alone with this terrible illness others need to come out, together we can beat this...<>rob<>.

As luck, umm, I mean fortune, no wait that not it, coincidence, yeah, that's the word, coincidence, I'm left handed as well and will help anyway I can. As therapy he can even teach me how to use a baitcaster to slowly wean him off those evil reels.
