    Results of SoAl May tournament

SoAl had a very good turnout for it's May tournament on Lake Jordan. I guess everyone was there to welcome the new tournament director Clint. We had a total of 13 boats and 12 of them had limits!
Congratulations to Randy and Matt for first place and big fish.
Second place was Brian and Barry and third goes to one of our long distance travelers Joe.
We had a great tournament with great weather and thanks to our more southern members Duck27, nmanley and --Joe-- for making the long drive to fish with us.

    Our first place winners.

    Second place

    Third place

    Other half of second place

    The End

Re: Results of SoAl May tournament (duck27)

Had a nice time guys despite being plagued by battery problems all day.

Thanks to nmanley for the jumpstart first thing in the morning!

A bad day of fishing is still a bad day of fishing, but it beats some of the alternatives!!

    Glad to help ya Bryan.
I had a great time. It was my first visit to the lake since 1994. I sold my boat Jan of 1995 and stop fishing completely till early 2010 due to work and other life changing events. The Lake has the numbers of fish I remember even though smaller on average.

Congratulations to all the winners. With all the limits of fish weighed in it could have been anyones tournament to win.

OH...and they closed the damn Wataburger on Taylor road! Should have stayed and ate with Rick since he was buying!

I enjoyed it also everyone. I was shocked when Clint handed me third place envelope, was not at all expecting that.
May as well say it was my first trip to Jordan, the other time I was run out after and hour or so by the weather. It is a lake I will fish more often as it was very interesting. I learned alot about my self from fishing there by not being able to fish my strengths, I had to rely on text book(video and BBC) knowledge on how to fish new water.
Great Time again all, Look forward to the next if not too far away.

We had a great time. Don't know how we caught 4 largemouth and one spot. But I will take it. It was the first time in four trips that nothing went wrong with the boat. Can't wait til next month, as long as I don't have any boat problems!
    Praise Him for fishing
