    Results SoAl February TX

Congratulations to the team of bama skeeter(Gary) and bama chip(you guessed it..Chip). They managed to sqeak out a win in adverse conditions which Martin is famous for. Nothing like 46 degree muddy water and winds to blow you off your fishing spot. Well that's the excuse I'm using for my pitiful bag(bag )

Oh and don't go by Gotsum and Bryans weight. They had fish. I think they had about 1.1 lbs .

Little does he know they would finish just out of the money

Eddie you going to have to take a bath or something so your luck will change. Congratulations to the winners. Hope to be at the next one. Maybe we want be making any more ER runs for med. reactions, that was not any fun the wife didn't like me waking her up in the middle of night to take me.

Hope to see you soon warren -

Congrats to those Bama boys - they sure found some nice pigs

Thank you Eddie for being so generous with the weight - i don't think the 2 we had would have even weight that much - since one of them i had to push down on it to make it reach 12 inches -

Allen I heard all different baits; shakeyheads, spinnerbait, crankbait, jerkbait, clean water, muddy water, 2ft deep, 17ft deep. I think you just needed luck to be where they were.

I heard there was an ABA tx there last weekend and 9lbs something won it. So I gues we were on par

Re: Results SoAl February TX (Shoofly)

Congratulations Chip and Gary. I wish we could have found just one fish like what you guys had. And yes Allen it was cold....I kept thinking I was getting bit and then realized it was just the shivering that had my line jumping all over the place. Hopefully next month it will be at least a few degrees warmer with winds less than 30 knots.

A bad day of fishing is still a bad day of fishing, but it beats some of the alternatives!!
