I'll put in a vote for Wedowee. I haven't been there since it first opened and probably won't catch anything, but at least I'll be getting beat at a different lake! Where would we launch, and are there any decent places to stay overnight?

I could be persuaded to go to Wedowee if the vote count were to pick up enough to beat out Jordan and someone can tell me where it is and where we'd launch. Also, are there any maps?

I am just wanting to go somewhere other than Jordan, Mitchell and Lay since those are the only places I have been able to fish the last three months. Would like a change of scenery and Logan Martin was a bit different. Been to Logan Martin once when it was 100+ and caught a catfish. Went back when it was 19- and caught a nice drum...would like to go there when the bass were biting

There are some decent maps available. It is also on the latest Navionics chip. IF you head north on 431 you will almost get there. In Wedowee take a left on 48.
This lake is a pretty long haul for me so I don't fish it often but the most used ramp is on the west side of the 48 bridge.
As for lodging, I have no idea about that. The town of Wedowee is not very big. I know Roanoke has at least one motel. It still about 20 minutes from the lake.
