    BFL vs Weekend Series

I thought I would post this here for some input. I have been thinking of fishing one of these next year as a co-angler. Which one would you perfer? I'm leaning more toward the weekend series.

Re: BFL vs Weekend Series (AubieBullet)

Both are ran good. I fished the BWS Alabama south division two years ago and was very impressed with the trail, and the directors.Very well ran. The BFLs generally tend to draw a little larger crowds, due to an extensive follwing from past years. Though the weekend series would get my nod between the two of them, at least here in alabama. Either one you cant go wrong with, just find a boater to link up with to guarantee your entry, shouldnt be hard to find one

It's eaiser to make the Nationals than the All American. Hope to be in Gunnterville in Nov. for the Nationals this year. Good Luck and GEAUX Tigers.

Do you know when the new schedule will come out for the BWS for 2011? I am looking at seriously fishing the Alabama South.

Re: BFL vs Weekend Series (AubieBullet)

I fish the BWS on KY Lake,(co-angler) but the number of boats between the 2 trails aren't even close. The BFL's draw around 200 boats, the BWS 75-85 boats. But FLW headquarters are right down the road and it has been around longer. I will continue to fish the BWS I think it is a well ran trail and have made many friends along the way. But the key to the BWS is a link, about every tourney we have left over co-anglers that have to go home.
