renegade prop blows out?

i went to the lake this past weekend to try out some props
im runnin a 24" raker now on the 200 venom and i had a gade to try.
it comes out of the hole a lot better but when the boat starts to break over on plane the prop blows out bad.
i didnt have a blowout ring on it. would the ring keep this from happning cause the rake dosent do it.
i left the motor hight where it was and no blowout with the raker

Some people can get away without the blow out ring and some can't. Sounds like you need one to me.

Yes, the ring will help, the Raker has a larger hub than the Renegade and dose not need the ring.

it ran the exact same speed at wot, 62 full of gas,livewells full and me and all my gear in it right at 5500 rpm so now i need to get a ring and start motor hight tunin i guess

Worked for me, seems I like all my gear with me and refuse to leave it at home , so I had the same problem. The ring fixed that! If I wanna carry tha mail,27 Gade with the ring, If I wanna go fast lighten up the boat and the Raker!!!
