Have you ever had one of those days where you say to your self "Why am I out here?" Well this was one of those days. Low temps. wind 15-20 mph, falling water, icy rod guides and reels, water temp 43-47 degrees. The only thing missing was rain. Actually one more thing was missing...FISH! I personnally didn't have a bump all day. I guess others were having a bad day also because only three boats out of eight were at weigh in.

Congratulations to Rusty on his first place finish. Three fish 7.8 and big fish 3.10.
Also koodos to Gary and Chip for second place. Two fish 4.3.
And Eddie and Drew finished third by default with no fish weighing nothing.

A BIG to the one's that though it out stayed and the 3 winners WHY IS EVERYONE SO BLUE boy should I brought something hot to drank and eat might have made it longer just an't as tough as I was but maybe tough once as was

Sorry for not sticking around.....I guess I just can't hang with the big guns any more.

Actually the biggest problem (well, other than not being able to catch fish, of course!) was ice forming in the guides. I ended up with some of the most horrendous backlashes you've every seen because of it!! After the first hour or so, I ended up using the only spinning rod I brought for everything. What a frustrating day!!

Congrats Guys!! Myself and Steve stayed till 2:30 and After fishing all day without a single BASS bite we called it A Day. It sure was COLD but we managed the Cold ok just couldn't get A bite at all,, just in case anyone is wandering about it my Wife was still laughing when I got home!!!

we did have one drum that would have been pushing first place by himself.... i had two bites all day...of course i may have had more and just not been able to feel them... i think the line icing broke me off a couple times and caused more backlashes than i have had in a long time...

congratulations to the guys the caught fish though.
