Navionics Hot Maps Premium South - Lake Wheeler

Hey Guys,
I'm studying Lake Wheeler on the Navionics South chip and the entire Decatur Flats area from just upstream of the Round Island Creek access to the RR bridge shows as a 7' flat with numerous 6' humps but no creek channels and no contours deeper than 7'. The Atlantic Mapping paper map shows numerous 11' channels or ditches in this area. The Navionics chip by comparison seems completely inaccurate. Anyone know which is correct?

try e-mailing Navionics , let them know what you have on your map , also , ask them if their HD version is any better ?

When I fish there I cannot remember what my chip said but I can tell you the ditches are in the 10' range. The Atlantic map seems to be more accurate than the chip you have.

Yeah Navionics really dropped the ball on several series of their maps on "The Flats". Some versions show the same as Atlantic mappings maps. I have a 320 and 332, both versions of my maps show high detail on the "flats". But have some buddies who have to change out cards on Wheeler due to this. Call Navionics, LOL they will know exactly what you are talking about. They can give you chip numbers that carry more detail. But that has been a big issue to everyone here Wheeler, unfortunatley.
