What map or chip shows the most detail for Wheeler's Decatur flats?

I am looking for the same thing Preston. I went to Basss pro today and looked at the 09 Navionics Premium chip and the flats are not detailed on there. It shows the flats as just a Shallow Area.

Re: North Bama guys (Eric B)

Guys, I have a chip that most have not heard of and it shows the flats and shallow creeks alot better than the new chips. I got it in 06' and it is a navionics chip. It show all lakes in the U.S. and the box says it has more than 3,000 lakes! It shows all the lakes around here and in southern Tenn. I have a buddy that borrows it when he comes to Wheeler to fish the BFL. He called Navionics and asked why the new chips don't show the swallows like the older ones and they said something about a new survey system?? If you look around on e-bay you can still find the chip that I have. I bought it at the GPS store in Decatur in 06', I don't know if they are still open or not. Eric might know??

I bet that is the same chip I had. That's where I bought mine from also (Adventure GPS). I thought it was an '06 chip from Navionics.

I have 2 that show it. Several of the older chips show the flats in details. I have the 04' Hotmaps Gold South and I have the older one in my 320 02' South classic but it will not work in color units as well. If you are coming to Wheeler anytime soon and want to get yourself dialed in on the stump rows at Wheeler the chip will definetly help IMMENSELY!!

One thing you might not have thought of is the original mapping on Lowrance units show the flats. I have not been using a chip this year and it shows the humps and channels. Also as mentioned the older chips have detail.
