my question is i bought a 97 r80 with a johnson 150 faststrike but the speedometer doesnt work, after researching everything, i noticed the pitot was missing, snapped off, the hose is there and seems to be in good shape does anyone know which pitot i should buy....tia
Welcome, are you referring to the pitot that comes from the engine or one that is mounted on the hull?
my apoligies, from the engine, i followed the hose thru the engine and on the lower unit of the motor i noticed a plastic stud coming from the motor that appears to line up perfectly with the hose. i researched pitots on line and the ones i saw had mounting screws on them,there are no holes on the motor only the stud.
Nipple part # is 336535.
