Anybody ever fished at Lale Shelby in Gulf Shores at the State?

a long time ago (back in the late 80s early 90s) it was a killer place for crappie and bass. Caught 4 crappie over 3lbs that we have mounted on one trip there. Largest bass that I have seen come out of there was 9lbs. Used to fish it every weekend from January through March with my uncle when I was a kid.

Fastforward and after the hurricanes came through it was flooded with saltwater and killed a lot of the fish. My uncle says you can still get some fish back in the very back pockets, but not many. It was badly silted in. I haven't been back there since 2002 so I don't know if it has picked up or not. Back then, I fished 7 hours and caught one bass that looked sick.

Maybe someone else will have a better update.
