im scared of little bear fished the monday nighter last night and only 4 boats out of about 25 weighed in a fish and we only caught one! that durn slot limit is what hurts down there. 2 of those boats only had one fish and the winner with 9lbs had five but he is the same guy that had 23 lbs a couple of mondays ago so he has apparently found some fish lol. but if thats where it goes thats fine with me

My vote is for Pickwick/ McFarland. Don't know anything about Little Bear. From what's been said at the last few Upper Bear tourneys it's been tuff going at little Bear. But where ever it's still FIIIIIIIISSSSSSSHHHHHHNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to change my vote, I think pickwick would be much better in the fall and why not keep exploreing these small watershed lakes. So with that I vote little bear. I've heard they do school there in the summer, maybe we'll get lucky :)

No Largemouth bass between 13" and 16". I don't remember ever fishing at Little Bear, so I'll vote for it also.

if it touches 13 or touches 16 you cant keep it, the slot on monday night tournys is that it has to be over 16 inches, its been hard to catch a 12 inch spot much less a 16 inch fish, one day we caught two limits of 15 and half inch largemouth talking about aggrivating lol.

little bear is pretty easy to run, stay to the left as you go under the power lines and stay to the left of the big rock pile its not hard to see i would stay a good distance out from it tho and the first point you go around comeing out of the ramp swing way out from it as the water is pretty shallow for a ways

    Re: (fishcraze)

A freind of mine went to cedar lake tues and caught about 8 keepers around 2lbs each, he said they were schooling better now , in the next 2 or 3 weeks little bear will start. I usually go there , little bear, in august to stock up my freezer with bass for the next year. Its a good clean lake with very clear water.

After Cedar Creek, I'm kinda leary of that slot limit. I'm mot real confident of catching any fish big enough to keep. But I still plan on fishing wherever we decide.

Not catching anything huge but in the Thursday night tourneys I fish on Pickwick I've caught between 20-25 keepers each of the last two tournaments. Best five have been going 10 lbs in each one. It took 16 to win this past week but normally it's 11-12 lbs to win in 4.5 hours (6:00-10:30). They really seem to be biting well. There were some really nice Smallies brought in Thursday night.
