It's time to vote for a location to fish our June tournament, which will be on June 21st. Everyone planning on attending is encouraged to vote and we'll keep track of the voting here. Voting will end on Monday, June 9th.

Sure, why not! I've only been there once and that was to crappy fish probably 12 - 14 years ago. The only thing I remember about that trip is hooking a BIG stripe that I lost at the boat on a crappy rig in some standing timber.

watch out for the island and stay close to the timber when running! alot of guys ran on the bank out there last year!

Well, since you picked it, and T-ball's over after this weekend......Wheeler. Eric and I will be there that weekend anyway practicing, so might as well see if we can get in a tournament.

I don't think we'll be alone Eric. I thought the 21st was the weekend of our practice......that's actually the day of the FOM tournament.

I think Eric's and my votes need to be taken down. There's no way we can fish, regardless of where it's at due to Fishers of Men. The only way we could is if we fished on Wheeler out of First Creek and weighed in at 3:05. But, even then, the only way that could happen is if you just took our weight from the FOM tournament instead of us weighing the fish a second time.

after watching this week's elite tourny, I'm changing my vote to wheeler, I want to fish the flats :)

I've been wanting to fish the flats since last year, watch a boat catch the mess out of them and would love to see what they were fishing, if I can still find the area

Well, that's up to everyone else. All the Tennessee River lakes have been on fire lately. The Stren guys were catching 50 fish a day on Wilson and Pickwick. I went on Wheeler for about 4 hours Saturday morning and 4 hours on Wilson Saturday night and caught plenty of fish on both. Fished Pickwick last Thursday night and caught several there too.

It really makes no difference to me which lake we fish because I can't catch a d@mn thing on either of them so I'm really just in it to make a donation. I'd prefer that we leave it on our regularly scheduled weekend if at all possible, though.
